LEADERSHIP & interaction

4 Keys to Sustainable Motivation

Workshop: LEIDERSCHAP & interactie

in short

This performance 'interactive theatre' is designed to give the leaders in your organisation the opportunity to look together in the 'mirror', and to mould the desired leadership style.

Triggers that lead to sustained motivation

When we look at sustainable motivation and corporate cultures in which people give the best of themselves, we come to the Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan), also known as the ABC model. The model explains that 3 basic universal psychological needs drive sustainable motivation and growth.

• Autonomy    the space to fill in certain aspects of the work as you see fit.
• Belonging    Feeling connected to colleagues and organisation, sense of belonging.
• Competencies    Feeling good at something, being appreciated, feeling competent.

For this theatre performance, Klein Barnum selected 4 practical keys for the manager to take on the role of ‘people manager’, to address the conditions or triggers that lead to autonomous motivation in employees, and to avoid the most common pitfalls that lead to demotivation.

4 keys that activate sustainable motivation

  • Awareness of the position that the manager is able to adopt in the interaction game.
We explore the constructive positions of the guiding person of trust.
  • Controlling your subtext to achieve ‘deep communication’ through non-verbal signals.
  • Managing objectives.
  • Style flexibility.
